Yvonne Chow was born in Hong Kong. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Master’s in Civil Engineering and is a registered civil engineer in the state of California. Yvonne is the visiting professor of the Department of Fine Arts at Shaoguan University, a member of the Shenzhen Female Painters Association, Vice-Chair of the Hong Kong Lingyi Association, and a member of the Hong Kong Lanting Association. She took Lingnan ink and wash painting classes at the City University of Hong Kong and studied with Professor Zhao Wu Yueliu, He Caian, and Qian Kaiwen. Yvonne’s work has been exhibited at Hong Kong City Hall, Hong Kong Central Library, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Fudan University of Shanghai, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall of Taiwan, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Fine Arts Building at the Shaoguan University of Guangdong, Kaiping Museum of Art and Shenzhen Museum.
In 2012 and 2011 received the silver and bronze awards respectively at the “Xiang Yue Xiang Gang” Exhibit. Her work has become part of the collections at the Shi Li Xiang Museum of Guangzhou and Kaiping Museum of Art.
