A Joint Painting Exhibit Celebrating Tam's 80th Birthday

Guan Sui-sheng was born in Guangzhou, China, in 1958. He started his Chinese art lessons with the famous artist Liu Quenxing; he also learned various kinds of paintings from many other master artists. Sui-sheng studied oil painting from South China People's Literature Institute of the Arts. Later, he worked as an animator and background designer for Pearl River Film Company. Sui-sheng immigrated to Toronto, Canada in the eighties. He founded Shi Dai Art Gallery soon after. Sui-sheng spends most of his efforts on Chinese dry ink painting, Li style calligraphy, as well as landscape oil painting.
He was engaged as a consultant and manager for the Chinese Calligraphy Association of Canada and is currently the chairman of China-Canada Art Exchange Association. His works have been exhibited in North America, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore; the works he presented won many prizes.
